Introduction: For a high-ranking government official or public figure, a strong digital presence is crucial. It's not just a channel for information but a powerful tool for building public engagement and trust. This case study details how I established and strengthened the online presence of Akbar Hossain, including verifying his Facebook page and developing his personal blog, akbarhossain.xyz.

The Challenge

In 2021, Akbar Hossain needed a reliable online platform to communicate directly with the public, particularly within the British Bangladeshi community. The main challenges at the time were:

• Credibility and Authenticity: With numerous fake accounts on social media, it was critical to authenticate his official page.

• Direct Connection: As a Press Minister, he needed a reliable way to get his work and views directly to the people.

• Personal Branding: A central platform was needed to showcase his professionalism, writings, and thoughts, reflecting his career journey.

• High-Quality Work: The project demanded flawless and professional execution befitting an international public figure.

The Solution

I adopted a multi-faceted approach to tackle these challenges.

• Facebook Page Verification (2021): My first task was to get his Facebook page verified. This was a challenging process due to Facebook's strict and thorough verification policy. By carefully gathering all the necessary documents and evidence, I successfully secured a blue badge for his page. This verified its authenticity and instantly built trust with his audience.

• Personal Blog Development (akbarhossain.xyz): A Facebook page alone was not enough. A Press Minister's personal thoughts, articles, and publications needed a dedicated platform. I designed and developed his personal blog, akbarhossain.xyz. The blog serves as a central repository for his writings and a reflection of his professional life. The design is clean, user-friendly, and responsive, maintaining his professional image.

• Content Management and Maintenance: I continue to handle the regular maintenance and updates of his blog. This ensures the website is always fast, secure, and has fresh content published regularly.
